FACES OF THE FESTIVAL

There’s something fascinating about people in their element, unfiltered, expressive, and immersed in an experience. That’s what drew me to this project. During a weekend-long festival in the town where my studio was located, I saw an opportunity that thousands of people, each with their own energy and presence were going to pass by my studio. So, with the help of two amazing assistants, I invited them in to be photographed just as they were.

Over the course of the festival, I photographed hundreds of attendees, capturing their personalities in a moment of pause amid the excitement. Some were joyful, some were contemplative, some were simply curious, but all were themselves. From these, I selected my favorites to share, creating a collection that, to me, represents the beauty of people-watching in its most personal form.

This project is a reminder of why I love photography, its ability to preserve fleeting moments and celebrate the uniqueness of every individual. I’m incredibly proud of this body of work, and I hope it invites others to see the magic in everyday faces, just as I do.
